Both products work great to eliminate FOG (Fats, Oils, and Grease) blockage and restore pipeline flow. The difference between the two products is their main purpose and use. Grease-X Emulsifier’s main purpose is to remove FOG that has built up over time in municipal wastewater lift lines. Once in the lift lines the emulsifier penetrates and softens all forms of fats, oils, and grease to restore blocked lines and flow.
Grease-X Biozyme’s main purpose is more a preventive maintenance treatment to help prevent FOG from building up in your wastewater collection system. Once Grease-X Biozyme is in your pipeline, the microorganisms coat the inside of the pipes and lift stations which then start digesting the FOG. The benefit with using Grease-X Biozyme rather than Grease-X Emulsifer is that it actually eats the FOG rather than breaking it down and softening it up to restore flow.
