“As the sanitary sewer system in every municipality continues to age, the need to maintain reliable flow has never been more prominent.  The threat of root infiltration, especially in cross country mains, needs constant attention.  Until recently this work was contracted out to subcontractors, however it became increasingly obvious that this work was not being completed to our standards every year.  By utilizing the RootX system, we are able to maintain our sewer system, root free, at a fraction of the cost to a subcontractor.  By having our in house sewer crew perform the annual treatments, we have a greater understanding of our own system and a greater personal ownership of this key work.  RootX has allowed us to become self sufficient with this work and has saved the rate payers greatly, allowing for financial investments elsewhere in the system.”
