The Profitable Solution to Root Intrusion.
RootX comes in two convenient sizes to tackle root growth in pipes 4-6 inches and up to 100ft in length. Plumbers can choose between 2 or 4lb jars for either toilet or sewer cleanout applications. Follow the instructions below for a guide on how to use RootX:
Tools Needed:
- chemical-resistant gloves
- chemical-resistant apron
- 5-gallon bucket and clean water
Step 1: Select Jar size and tools
Select the appropriate RootX Funnel Jar for use:
- A 2 lb. jar will treat approximately 50ft. of 4-inch pipe
- A 4 lb. jar will treat approximately 100ft. of 4-inch pipe, or 75ft. of 6-inch pipe

Step 2: Attach the funnel
Unscrew round lid from top of container. Attach the mixing funnel/application by threading onto opening where the lid was in the square container.

Step 3: Mix RootX Components
Grasp the bottom of the square container and the narrow end of the mixing funnel applicator (putting a gloved hand over the mixing funnel cap located at the narrow end of the mixing applicator). Rock the square container with the mixing funnel applicator attached, back and forth for approximately one minute—allowing the two dry components of RootX to flow into the funnel and back into the square container several times.

Step 4: Apply RootX
After the solution is thoroughly mixed, remove the cap from the narrow end of the funnel applicator and pour the entire mixture of dry product through the funnel directly into a sewer cleanout or toilet bowl if a sewer cleanout is not available.

Step 5A: Sewer Cleanout Application
Pour entire contents of RootX Funnel Jar into cleanout. Add 5 gallons of water per pound of RootX used to push the foam down through the sewer line. (example 10 gallons of water for a 2 lb jar)

Step 5B: Toilet Cleanout Application
Flush the toilet and add the dry mixture into the toilet bowl as the water is going down the drain. Add 5 gallons of water per pound of RootX used to push foam down the toilet drain. To avoid overflow, use no more than 2 pounds of RootX for toilet application.

Step 6: Restrict Water Usage
Restrict water usage for 4-6 hours after application.
